Abstract
This all-in-one HTML-based guided planning tool helps higher education faculty and instructional designers build or redesign assignments along the continuum from traditional/disposable to authentic, constructionist, and renewable. It helps you make practical decisions about sharing, privacy, and licensing without getting overwhelmed.
This tool supports assignment planning and prompt generation. Users are responsible for reviewing, revising, and approving any AI-generated output before using it with students.
The builder will help you generate a markdown AI prompt you can paste into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. That prompt asks the AI to create or redesign an assignment that follows the TiLT format and matches the choices you make in this tool.
